The event which was themed, “Capital Market, Startup Financing and Syndicate Funding: Ability of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises to Access the Capital Market” had stakeholders across the capital market discuss and proffer solutions to the prevailing business constraints faced by SMEs. “We are currently working on a slew of innovative approaches to attract capital market funding for the Technology portion of the SME sector as well as less formal ways to attract funding to the sector overall”. “We are also working to establish the Technology Board, which will connect technology companies with an extensive pool of investors. The NGX Growth Board is a veritable platform dedicated to encouraging small-cap and growth-oriented businesses to leverage the capital market to raise long-term capital, stimulate growth, and promote liquidity. “The launch of the NGX Growth Board in 2019 is in keeping with this commitment. Popoola who said this during his keynote address at the 2022 Annual Business Luncheon organised by the Capital Market Solicitors Association in Lagos, said, “It is important that capital markets are able to play a role in catalyzing growth within this sector. The Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), Mr. Temi Popoola has reiterated its commitment to expand the Nigerian capital market and providing inclusive platforms for a diverse stakeholders, including Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), to access capital.

I'm glad he went out there because that helped me out a lot. The guy who streaked at Super Bowl 55 hit the strip club after he was released from custody - and worked the pole so hard, he was DRAGGED off the stage. Instead of making one giant bet that would have resulted in obvious red flags, he called around his friend group asking them if they would set up an account with Bovada, in an attempt to compile a large number of separate bets that wouldn. "When he came out, that gave me a little bit of time to catch my breath. The ‘Super Bowl Streaker’ explained that Bovada had a +750 prop bet for a fan running onto the field. "That was funny, but honestly I needed it because we were getting driven on," he said, via the Associated Press. Super Bowl 2021: Quarterbacks Tom Brady & Patrick Mahomes on the Big Impact Their Fathers Had The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing to face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday in Super. That was closer than the Chiefs had gotten to the end zone all day, but rookie safety Antoine Winfield Jr. He was chased by several stadium personnel before being taken down (or giving himself up via slide, depending upon your tilt) at the Bucs' one-yard line. Driving down the field late in the fourth quarter, Mahomes saw his drive suddenly halted by a scantily-dressed male fan who had somehow dodged NFL security and found his way to the field. As Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs desperately tried to find their way against a visceral Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, they finally found a bit of momentum when it was much too little and far too late. Would you say Ash cheated if Pikachu somehow knocked Mudsdale completely off of the battlefield and into the water?Ĥ. If anything, I'd say it was Hapu's fault for picking a somewhat disadvantageous location to battle, considering her type-specialty. Yeah, it's still a bit cheap, but at least he didn't exploit features that technically aren't part of the battlefield itself (i.e. the water surrounding the arena) for this improvised Soak strategy. Unlike the sprinkler strategy, Ash utilized a natural part of the battlefield (i.e. As for the opposite side of the spectrum, think of Thunder Armor.ģ. That's not something you can do in the games, but the anime portrays it in a plausible-enough fashion that it makes sense to the viewers. Think of how Lance's Gyarados used Aqua Tail to get rid of Fire Spin. I've said this several times before on different threads, but I'm fine with the anime bending the rules of the game and portraying things in different ways as long as they're portrayed in a believable enough manner. Yes, Pikachu can't learn Soak, but splashing water should create a similar enough effect so that Electric-type attacks are now effective on the target Pokemon (even if it might not actually be completely turned into a Water-type Pokemon). In addition to the consistency, there's now a valid gameplay-related reason as to why splashing water onto a Ground-type made it susceptible to Electric-type attacks: Soak. I know, the OG series was quite weird in a lot of different ways, I'm just saying that this interaction was already established a long time ago in the anime.Ģ. The interaction was consistent with the sprinkler strategy that Ash used a long time ago. I was actually perfectly fine with the improvised Soak strategy for several reasons:ġ. You think either SMUSUM or LGPE would've justified this with an event Pikachu (or Eevee) that knows Soak, or added Soak to Pikachu's moveset in SwSh. You'd have Normal-types deal damage to Ghost-types without Odor Sleuth or Scrappy, Steel-types be poisoned by something without Corrosion, and in M13, a Bronzor using Psychic on a Zorua without using Miracle Eye beforehand (and in the pre-SwSh games, Bronzor cannot learn Miracle Eye). The writers make up their own rules as they go along, even in a short moment's notice. And then after this battle, we've had "SOS Rest" between Ash's battle with Hau. And the less said about Water Shuriken dealing little damage to a Fire/Dragon and Blast Burn dealing Super Effective damage to a Water/Dark, the better. We all remember "Thunder Armor", where Swellow is powered up by a Thunderbolt instead of KOed without having Lightning Rod (which wouldn't have made him immune to Electric-type moves in Generation III). Pikachu improvising Soak is just one of many examples. People take great notice when the anime ignores basic rules of the games. And they provided a good-enough explanation for the rather-questionable tactic Ash used. With Pikachu jumping off of Pillars and tactically using it's surroundings. The actual battle itself makes great use of the Environment. Another complaint I saw was that the Battle was just "generic hits" which isn't true. I see people saying Rowlet could have been used, but a Rowlet Vs a Mudsale would be the most weirdest battle ever with only god-knows terrible atrocious choreography. It doesn't matter if the battle is 1 VS 1 or 2 VS 2, quality is much more important than Quantity. It actually foreshadows the strategy Ash uses to win the Battle. The First Part of the Episode provides the emotional narrative of Hapu becoming Island King which makes the Trial worthy of being the "Final Trial" and the beach scene isn't useless at all. They said the First Part of the Episode was "An Absolute Waste" which I disagree with. I was recently scrolling the SM109 Review Thread and see that people called the episode many things. I don't get why this battle is so hated and I'd like to know why. Kelly Bensimon, 54, bares her abs in pink string bikini as she enjoys the beach on vacation in Ibiza That's advantage Statham! If you’re missing FallbackController, then you can run one of the mix phx.gen tasks from and it will be generated for you. At this point, you should be able to start the app and Log in. You also lose the ability to cast which you might want. You get (Protocol.UndefinedError) protocol Enumerable not implemented for YourStruct. I also added support for authentication using mix : mix Accounts User users mix deps.get mix ecto.migrate. Changeset.change/2 doesnt work if you are taking a different struct and turning it into your struct. Each takes a changeset as its first parameter and returns a changeset that will have newly-added errors if the validation has failed. Luckily, this is provided by default in a Phoenix project. Note: These instructions use phoenix v1.6.6 and liveview v0.17.5. Ecto provides a number of functions for creating validations. To process this error, we need a FallbackController. With the pattern match def create(conn, %. When you run changeset.save(), under the hood this executes the changeset, and then runs the save method on your original content object, passing its return value back to you. The Ecto. Your action will receive a single POJO containing the key, newValue, oldValue, a one way reference to changes, and the original object content. There is an example of working with changesets in the introductory documentation in the Ectomodule. We could add a pattern match in the controller arguments, and add some manual validation in private functions in the same controller file. Changesets allow filtering, casting and validation of model changes. Let’s see how we can validate the input parameters, before we call any of the functions. That means we will want to validate the request parameters before we start any of the function calls because if one succeeds, a later one may fail when it receives invalid data. These three function calls happen in succession, and each must succeed before another can be called. I’ll use a JSON-based API in the following examples, because that’s what I’m most familiar with.īelow is an example of a basic Phoenix controller, which creates a User and an EmailAddress, and verifies and updates an existing EmailConfirmation. Using Ecto.Changeset for database record changes is nice, but let’s take a look at API validation. If you’ve chosen to install Gettext (installed by default for a Phoenix app), you get easy language translation of these errors for free. Ecto.Changeset Changesets allow filtering, casting, validation and definition of constraints when manipulating structs. When creating a Phoenix project, translate_error/1 is provided by default. The difference between them is that most validations can be executed without a need to interact with the database and, therefore, are always executed before attempting to insert or update the entry in the database. We’ll be using the changes and errors fields later in this post, so let’s keep them in mind. Ecto changesets provide both validations and constraints which are ultimately turned into errors in case something goes wrong. Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode The functions cast/4 and change/2 are the usual entry points for creating changesets. There is an example of working with changesets in the introductory documentation in the Ecto module. Since we only expect the user to enter a name, Changesets allow filtering, casting, validation and definition of constraints when manipulating structs. Let’s first look at a barebones create action in a Phoenix controller and see howĬhangesets play a role in our controller. Add manytomany relations in the Project and User module. Letting a changeset that low in the stack influence the web forms is dangerous. Create a migration that adds userproject table. This post will walk through how to leverage Ecto changesets to validate dataīefore we insert it into the database to ensure data integrity.įor example, let’s say that in our app, we can create a user with a name,īut we want to validate the name before we insert it into the database.īefore diving into what Ecto changesets can do to validate our data, In an ideal scenario an Ecto.Changeset should NOT have a dependency through line from an app’s business context into the web controller and onto the web form of the page. Customizing Ecto Changesets to Validate Data and Ensure Data Integrity Aug 13, 2016Įcto changesets help us cast, validate, filter, and manipulate data. The dance gun triggers a bassier, dance beat as the zombies begin to move in time with one another.īruce’s one liners are repeated at the beginning of each level. The music of the game lifts it out of this hole, however, with rock tracks backing the action as Bruce powers through horde after horde of zombies. The gunshots in particular are generally of low quality audio, with some artifacting heard at times. The sound effects of the Zombies and weapons of the game are fairly generic, feeling as though they were pulled from a catalogue rather than recorded especially for the game. The lowlight of our Burn Zombie Burn review experience, the soundtrack of the game is a bit of a letdown. Sound - Burn Zombie Burn Review (3 out of 5) The game can operate in a window and fullscreen. Sure, everything looks like the object it is representing, but it can’t be helped but thought that the graphics could have been improved just that bit more – there are absolutely no quality options, aside from “Enabled” and “Disabled” for such things as shadowed. However, it’s clear that Doublesix have gotten a little lazy when it came to creating the graphics for the game. Overdone flame effects and gratuitous amount of gore populate the game and in no time the battlefield is filled with ridiculous amount of blood and body parts. The exaggerated proportions of Bruce and the Zombies add more of a comic feel to the game, if players hadn’t already realised the tongue-in-cheek tendencies from the weapon choices. But in a game that focuses on a quick laugh rather than a full on, immersive experience, the end result isn’t too bad. The graphics of Burn Zombie Burn are nowhere near the best in the world. Graphics - Burn Zombie Burn Review (3 out of 5) Many deaths will be caused by Bruce refusing to aim anywhere except a single degree away from the zombie that needs shooting. Whether this is the fault of a failed lock-on system or simply a bad implementation of the mouse during its port from the PS3, it tends to make Burn Zombie Burn game play a tad difficult at times. Much of the time they tended to be rather unresponsive, with the mouse being at times horrendously difficult to aim with. Unfortunately most of the game’s faults are with the controls. The controls of the game are rather simple – the player moves Bruce using the keyboard, and aims and fires his weapons using the mouse. Neither the most powerful or sensible weapon in existence, it was nonetheless the highlight of our time with the game. Taking the place of the torch in a player’s inventory, the weapon causes all effected zombies to break out into their best rendition of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, allowing the player to destroy them with no resistance. These weapons have a limited amount of ammo, and must be used sparingly. Other available weapons include Uzis, Chainsaws and even a Lawnmower and a Brain Gun, which sucks the brain from one zombie and spews it onto the ground, causing surrounding zombies to be drawn to it. The default weapons are a handgun and flaming torch, both of which have unlimited ammunition. The weapons at the player’s disposal range from conventional to downright ridiculous. In no time the battlefield is filled with zombies of varying types, strengths and speeds, each of which pose a different risk to the player. Burn Zombie Burn Game Play (5 out of 5)ĭrawing a single round out long enough to make an impression is what makes Burn Zombie Burn game play so challenging yet rewarding. The downside of this is that flaming zombies run quicker, attack faster and are no longer afraid of fire.Īside from this new feature, Burn Zombie Burn fails to bring anything new to the idea of the zombie survivor genre, but this one feature is what makes Burn Zombie Burn stand above other games of the style. The upside to this is that the amount of zombies on fire converts to a multiplier which increases the points a player receives each time, making it easy to rack up awesome scores in no time. Essentially, players are able to light their enemies on fire using a torch or flamethrower. One interesting (and quite novel feature) Burn Zombie Burn introducing is the Flaming Zombie. This might seem like a cake walk, but is surprisingly hard, with the battlefield quickly becoming full, leaving nothing for a player to do except stand and deliver, with a number of different weapons available. Taking the role of Bruce, a wise cracking, gun toting sole survivor in a number of zombie infested situations, the player’s goal is simple – cause as much havoc as possible before succumbing to the mindless ghouls all around them. Super Bomberman R Online Review – Can You Even Call That a Tutorial? Konami was able to take the best aspects of multiplayer Bomberman and put a battle royale twist to it, without adding too much complexity to the overall flow of the game. The battle royale aspect definitely adds a new side to the series that will take some getting used to at first, but like other old-school remastered battle royales Tetris 99 and Pacman 99, the change is a welcome one. If you’ve ever played a Bomberman game, the gameplay will feel both incredibly familiar and refreshing at the same time. Unlike other battle royales like Apex Legends and PUBG, there’s also no way to receive any form of in-game currency for playing the game, making the whole microtransaction system feel a little cash-grabby at times. The battle pass can be purchased with 800 of these coins, however, it’s worth noting that these coins are only available in packs of 100, 500, 1000, and 3000. You can also purchase cosmetics and characters using “Bomber Coins” which can be bought with real money. The first season also offers a free “Start Pass” that requires no additional purchases to unlock. The battle pass, called “Bomber Pass” allows players to unlock new customization options. Win enough, and you can go up to the next rank and presumably fight more experienced players. If you’ve gotten this far, congratulations! You are awarded a large number of experience points that can unlock new cosmetics and emotes. Either way, it forces players to choose their next room wisely and avoid being in the same room as an experienced player. The phases repeat until only one bomber is left, at which point they are deemed “Bomber One.” Conversely, you might even be stuck in a room alone. Players are free to move to whatever room they wish meaning that, in some cases, you may be stuck in a room with a larger group of people eyeing to knock out their next bomber. After a certain period of time, whatever blocks that are left are removed, and players then go into a “Movement Phase” where four of the rooms will “close”, forcing players to move to another room or be eliminated. From there, however, things get a bit different. 64 players are put into 16 different “rooms” where they duke it out between four other opponents in classic Bomberman style. The game works like every other battle royale game like Fortnite and PUBG, complete with a battle pass and competitive ranking system. Super Bomberman R Online Review – A Standard Battle Royale Experience “It’s a lighthearted party game, how bad could it be? ” I thought.īoy, was I in for a surprise. Albeit those two are first-person shooters, I thought I was capable enough to have a go at Super Bomberman R Online. You’ll get VPN access plus protection from ransomware and Mac-related threats.įor only $14.99 per year, you can subscribe to Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android. Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac costs $29.99 per year for the first year, then $59.99 per year, and covers a lot of the same things as Antivirus Plus. If you have a Mac or an Android device you’d like to cover, you’ll have to purchase a separate subscription. Norton offers a lot of the same features as Bitdefender, and its most similar plan, Norton Antivirus Plus, is the same price, but it only covers one device a year. It’s a great value, especially compared to brands like Norton.
